Information pursuant to the Act of Leadership Positions
Targeted support for women is an important concern for Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation as part of its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion management. At Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation, we have set ourselves goals to promote the proportion of women in leadership positions.
Irrespective of this, in Germany the Act on the Equal Participation of Women and Men in Leadership Positions in the Private and Public Sectors, as amended by the Second Act on Leadership Positions ("FüPoG"), applies to listed companies and/or companies subject to co-determination. This Act obliges the affected companies to determine and publish target figures for the proportion of women on the management body and on the two management levels below the management body, as well as a deadline for achieving these targets.
By resolution of 15 December 2025, at a time when the proportion of women on the management board of Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation—consisting of two members—was 50 percent, the shareholders' meeting did not set a target figure for the proportion of women on the management board.
By resolution of 15 December 2025, the management board of Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation GmbH, with a proportion of women of 39 percent (9 women out of a total of 23 managers) on the first management level and 19 percent (38 women out of a total of 198 managers) on the second management level below the management board, set target figures for the proportion of women of 39 percent on the first and 25 percent on the second management level below the management board, with a deadline for achieving these targets by 31 December 2030.
Based on the assumption of a total of 23 managers on the first management level below the management board as of 31 December 2030, the target figure of 39 percent corresponds to a target of 9 women.
Based on the assumption of a total of 198 managers on the second management level below the management board as of 31 December 2030, the target figure of 25 percent corresponds to a target of 50 women.
Note: All percentage figures are rounded down to whole numbers.
